PDA members’ voices drive Regional Committee discussions around key pharmacy issues

The PDA Regional Committees are made up of pharmacists from across the profession who are elected to represent the PDA's wider membership. The committees meet to discuss current issues in pharmacy ahead of PDA National Executive Committee meetings.

PDA contributes evidence to the House of Lords ‘Medicines Security’ inquiry

The PDA recently provided written evidence to the House of Lords Public Services Committee’s inquiry into medicines supply chains, drawing attention to the impact of medicine shortages on both patient-facing pharmacists and the patients depending on their care.

NHS pay announcement 2026/27

Pharmacists and other NHS workers on Agenda for Change contracts have been told that the government has agreed the recommendation from the NHS Pay Review Body (NHSPRB) for a 3.3% pay increase for the 2026/27 annual pay review.

Joint statement from Boots and the PDA: Foundation Trainee pay rates
